Illinois Relaxing Weekend Babymoon

When we were pregnant with our first child we went to Galena IL and spent a relaxing and romantic time at The Cloran Mansion. They have a fantastic Pampered Parents package. They had a healthy and pregnancy safe snack with sparkling juice when we arrived, a couples massage (prenatal for me), and when we checked out we got champagne for later celebration and a gift for the baby.

We stayed in the cottage and we enjoyed a jacuzzi tub for two and because its a tub I could enjoy a safe temperature. A gorgeous fireplace and romantic room. We had a huge delicious breakfast that kept both my husband and myself full through lunch. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in gazebo looking at the pond and the firepit at night. It was the perfect weekend for us.
